WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Southern Arkansas senior pitcher Doug Shields struck out 12 and only allowed one walk in a complete-game, 7-2 victory over Angelo State on Thursday in the opening round of the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Baseball Tournament on the campus of the University of Central Missouri.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The No. 12 ranked men's tennis team of Ouachita Baptist finished off their NCAA Round of 16 match with Bluefield State with a 5-0 victory after weather postponed a number of matches until Thursday morning. The Tigers took a 5-0 victory in the match, fueling them into a quarterfinals match which will take place at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
MONTICELLO, Ark. — Kayla Jackson continues to add to her legacy as one of the best softball players in University of Arkansas at Monticello history. Jackson became the first three-time softball All-America honoree in school history Wednesday when she was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Second Team.
