2011 GAC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP MEET RESULTS (PDF)
SEARCY, Ark. – East Central University placed the top three individual finishes and four of the top six to capture the inaugural Great American Conference Men’s Cross Country Championship on Saturday at the Wyldewood Retreat Center in Searcy.
ECU’s Ezekiel Kissorio (24:26.33), Armando Saldivar (24:32.84) and Daniel Kiptoo (24:39.32) finished first, second and third, respectively. All seven of ECU’s designated runners finished in the top 10. Cale Eidson (25:05.37) finished fifth, Jimmy Sutrick (25:05.37) finished sixth, Austin Christian (25:18.01) finished eighth and Joel Dutton (25:38.73) finished 10th. ECU finished with a total of 17 points.
Harding finished second with a total of 47 points. The Bisons were led by Phillip Biwott’s fourth place individual finish with a time of 25:00.41. Rounding out HU’s field of seven runners was Lajos Farkas (25:15.97) in seventh place, Manase Busienei (25:45.85) in 11th place, Taylor Lively (25:49.02) in 12th place, Andrew Evans (25:55.23) in 13th place and Matt Cumpian (26:29.89) in 17th place.
Southern Arkansas finished in third place with a total of 75 points. MickeyHammer highlighted SAU’s participants with a final time of 25:33.99 for a ninth place finish.
Arkansas-Monticello finished fourth with a total of 115 points.
