RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – East Central’s Dilan Webster and Northwestern Oklahoma State’s Daryl Glover received the Great American Conference’s Women’s and Men’s Basketball Players of the Week honors for their performances in the 10th week of the 2012-13 regular season.

GAC WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Dilan Webster, East Central, F, So., Oklahoma City, Okla.
Webster helped the Lady Tigers to two key GAC road victories to improve their winning streak to nine games, the second longest in school history. She started the week off with her second double-double of the season with 17 points and a season-best 11 rebounds at Northwestern. She then led the Lady Tigers to victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State with a career-best 31 points. She recorded the first 30-point game for an ECU player since since Dec. 5, 2009. The win also broke a four-game losing streak to the Lady Bulldogs.

GAC MEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Daryl Glover, Northwestern Oklahoma State, G, Sr., Inglewood, Calif.
Glover averaged 20 points and 4.5 assists, leading Northwestern Oklahoma State to a pair of Great American Conference wins. Glover scored a career-high 26 and hit nine big free throws down the stretch to help the Rangers pull away from East Central, 101-85. Saturday, the senior point guard sat most of the first half with foul trouble but still managed another 14 points and four assists in Northwestern’s 79-69 win over first place Southeastern. Glover posted a 9:1 assist-to-turnover ratio this week and Northwestern turned it over just 15 times in the two victories.
