 ARKADELPHIA, Ark.  No. 2 Arkansas-Monticello claimed its first Great American Conference Baseball Championship crown as the Weevils defeated No. 4 Henderson State, 14-2, on Saturday from Clyde Berry Field. GAC Player of the Year Corey Wood added GAC Tournament MVP honors to his resume as he hit his fourth home run of the tournament and drove in seven runs for the second time in five GAC Championship games. He totaled 19 RBIs in the five games.

   UAM 4th – Guy Halbert homered to center field.  
   UAM 5th – Halbert doubled down the left field line; Nick Cerda scored.

   HSU 6th – Joseph Gary grounded out to shortstop; Tadarious Hawkins scored.
