RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s golfer of the week for the seventh week of the fall season. Arkansas Tech’s Ellen Spigner earned the honor following her performance at the Midwest Classic.

Spigner collected her second-career win as she won the Midwest Classic by two strokes. She opened with a 2-under par 68 in a round that featured five birdies. A second 2-under 68, the round’s low score, moved her into first place after 36 holes. She made two birdies and an eagle in an eight-hole stretch. She carded four birdies as part of a 1-under final round.
