RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the GAC baseball weekly awards for the third week of the season. Southeastern Oklahoma State’s JJ Bush claimed Player of the Week and Southern Arkansas’ Eli Hutcherson earned Pitcher of the Week.

Bush hit .538 with a 1.231 slugging percentage as the Savage Storm won their opening GAC series. Against Ouachita Baptist he tallied five extra-base hits, including three doubles in the series opener. He hit a go-ahead home run in game two. He hit his second home run of the series in the finale. He drove in six runs against the Tigers
#theGAC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Eli Hutcherson, SP, Southern Arkansas, Sr., Cabot, Arkansas
In his second start of the season, Hutcherson threw 7.0 scoreless innings in an 8-3 victory against Delta State. He earned his first win. He struck out a career-high six batters. He walked just two and gave up only four hits. He allowed just one runner to reach scoring position.
