#theGAC MEN’S AND WOMEN’S GOLFERS OF THE WEEK (WEEK 15)

 RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the fifth men’s and women’s golfers of the week awards for the spring portion of the 2025-26 season. Southwestern Oklahoma State’s Ben Jackson captured the men’s honor and Henderson State’s Paulina Narvaez secured the women’s award.

#theGAC MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Ben Jackson, Fr., Southwestern Oklahoma State, Brisbane, Australia
Jackson paced the Bulldogs at the Hillcat Classic as he finished second in the individual competition. He opened with a 4-under par 68, the second-best round of the event. He followed with rounds of 1-under and even par. He collected 13 birdies and a tournament-leading two eagles. SWOSU won the event by 11 shots and finished as the only school under par.

#theGAC WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Paulina Narvaez, Sr., Henderson State, Guanajuato, Mexico
Narvaez led the Reddies to a team title at the Arkansas Collegiate as she claimed the individual medalist honor. She began with 2-over 74 and sat in second place. Her 1-under 71 in the second round matched the low round of the event and she finished three shots clear of the competition. She made a tournament-best seven birdies, including five in the second round.
