TOPEKA, Kansas -- A dominant second half lifted the Oklahoma Baptist University men's basketball team to a 75–63 victory over University of Central Missouri on Saturday evening at Lee Arena in Topeka, Kansas.

After trailing 29–26 at halftime, OBU erupted for 49 points in the second half to pull away and secure the win. The Bison shot just 30 percent from the field in the opening half but caught fire after the break, connecting on 20-of-32 shots (62.5 percent) in the final 20 minutes.

Central Missouri built its early lead behind a big half from Jevon Hill, who finished with a game-high 25 points and knocked down seven 3-pointers. The Mules held the advantage for much of the opening period and carried a three-point lead into the locker room.

The Bison quickly flipped the momentum in the second half. A 15–0 run midway through the period helped Oklahoma Baptist turn a deficit into a double-digit advantage. The surge was fueled by defensive pressure and transition offense, as the Bison finished with 25 points off turnovers and 16 fast-break points.

Austin Coner led with 16 points off the bench, going a perfect 7-for-7 from the free-throw line. Christian Hodge added 12 points and a game-high 11 rebounds for a double-double, while Joshua Udoumoh contributed 13 points and six boards.

The Bison dominated inside throughout the second half, outscoring Central Missouri 44–14 in the paint and finishing with a 40–32 rebounding advantage. Oklahoma Baptist's depth also played a major role, with the bench producing 35 points in the win.

Despite Hill's strong performance, UC struggled to maintain offensive efficiency late, finishing the game shooting 36.2 percent from the field.

With the victory, Oklahoma Baptist improved to 29–3 overall, using a powerful second-half performance to secure the 12-point win. The Bison will take on Minnesota-Duluth at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
