RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the GAC softball weekly awards for the ninth week of the season. Southern Arkansas’ Kelsie Adams won Player of the Week and Southern Nazarene’s Baylee Sales captured Pitcher of the Week.

Adams went 7-for-16 with three home runs as the Muleriders went 4-1. She homered and scored two runs in a doubleheader sweep of Midwestern State. She hit .600 in the series against Henderson State. She went 4-for-4 with a two-run home run in game one. She added a second home run of the series in game three.
#theGAC SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Baylee Sales, RHP, Southern Nazarene, Jr., Mabank, Texas
Sales threw a no-hitter as part of three-consecutive shutouts last week. She no hit Newman on Tuesday. She struck out seven in the 8-0 win. Against Northwestern Oklahoma State, she recorded a one-hit shutout in the series opener. She recorded six strikeouts in the 4-0 win. She capped her week with a two-hit shutout in the series finale. She lowered her ERA to 2.42
