 RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its 14th GAC men’s track & field athletes of the week winners. Harding’s Savian Bush claimed the track honor and the Bisons’ Yves Bilong earned the field award.

#theGAC TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Savian Bush, Sr., Harding, Tatum, Texas
Bush established the top Division II time in the 110-meter hurdles after he posted 13.59 seconds at the Bryan Phillips Open. He set a personal best and a school record with the time. He finished second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 53.34 seconds. He ran the anchor leg of the Bisons’ victorious 4x400-meter relay. Their time, 3:10.02, ranks ninth in the country.

#theGAC FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Yves Bilong, Sr., Harding, Saint-Gilles, France
Bilong broke his own school record in triple jump as he won the event at the Bryan Phillips Open. His top attempt, 16.20 meters, came on his second jump of the day. He became the first Division II competitor to clear 16 meters this season. His jump ranks as the best in Division II prior to the NCAA Championships since 2023.
