RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the GAC softball weekly awards for the 10th week of the season. Southern Nazarene’s Kristen Mullendore claimed Player of the Week and Arkansas Tech’s Emily Richarde garnered Pitcher of the Week.

Mullendore hit .500 with three home runs, 11 RBI and 10 runs scored across five games, four wins. In a doubleheader against Cameron, she went 3-for-8 with a grand slam. In a sweep of East Central, she went 6-for-10. In game one, she homered, drove in three and scored four times. In game two she homered and scored twice. In the finale, she scored a run and drove in a run.
#theGAC SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Emily Richarde, RHP, Arkansas Tech, Jr., Lakeland, Tennessee
Richarde collected a win and a save against Henderson State as the Golden Suns pushed their win streak to 17. She entered the fifth inning of game two and she threw three perfect innings. She struck out six of the nine batters and preserved a 3-1 win. On Saturday, she threw the 22nd no-hitter in Golden Sun history. She struck out three as she improved to 5-2
