 RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its 13th GAC men’s track & field athletes of the week winners. Oklahoma Baptist’s Korban Murphy captured the track accolade and Harding’s Yves Bilong won the field honor.

#theGAC TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Korban Murphy, Jr., Oklahoma Baptist, Mabank, Texas
At the Texas State's Bobcat Invitational, Murphy took third during the 800-meter run. He registered a time of 1:50.63 and established a personal best. He achieved an NCAA Provisional mark with a time that ranks as the fastest in the GAC and as the 20th-best in Division II.

#theGAC FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Yves Bilong, Sr., Harding, Saint-Gilles, France
Competing in the University/College section of the 98th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, Bilong shattered the Harding school record with an effort of 16.14 meters in the triple jump. This mark not only secured him a top-three finish among elite competition but also catapulted him to the No. 1 spot in Division II.
