RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s tennis player of the week for the ninth week of the 2026 season. Southeastern Oklahoma State’s Emilia O'Neill claimed the honor after helping the Savage Storm pick up two wins.

O'Neill earned two singles wins and paired with Milana Voloshyn for a doubles victory as the Savage Storm defeated Arkansas - Fort Smith and Ouachita Baptist. Against the Lions, she won the match-clinching point by beating Rayssa Dominguez in three sets. In their GAC opener with the Tigers, she and Voloshyn won at No. 1, 6-1. She added a straight-sets No. 2 singles victory.
