SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA STATE 24, SOUTHERN ARKANSAS 21
MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southeastern Oklahoma State’s Don Brown scored on a one-yard touchdown run with 16 seconds remaining in regulation to lift the Savage Storm (2-0, 1-0 GAC) over Southern Arkansas (1-2, 1-2 GAC) by a final score of 24-21 on Saturday. Brown’s touchdown capped a 13-play, 90-yard drive for SOSU to help give the team its first conference win of the season and become one of the two remaining unbeaten squads in the league.

SOUTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA STATE 17, HENDERSON STATE 13
ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Southwestern Oklahoma State (2-1, 1-1 GAC) held Henderson State (1-2, 1-1 GAC) to a total of 139 yards of total offense in a 17-13 win on Saturday. The Bulldogs tallied 422 yards of total offense, most of which coming from the arm of quarterback Dustin Stenta, who finished the contest 37-of-52 through the air for 330 yards. His favorite target, Eric Charles (pictured above), broke a school record with 12 catches for 129 yards, averaging out to 10.8 yards per reception.

OUACHITA BAPTIST 38, ARKANSAS-MONTICELLO 20
EL DORADO, Ark. – Ouachita Baptist (2-0, 2-0 GAC) rushed for over 300 yards in a 38-20 win over Arkansas-Monticello (2-1, 1-1 GAC) in the 3rd Annual Boomtown Classic. OBU joins Southeastern Oklahoma State as the only two remaining unbeaten squads in the league, while UAM suffers its first loss in the event after defeating Southern Arkansas in each of the past two seasons in El Dorado. The Tigers were led by a pair of 100-yard rushers in contest in Chris Rycraw and Casey Cooper. Rycraw tallied 23 touches for 127 yards and two touchdowns, while Cooper, the team’s quarterback, rushed 17 times for 119 yards and one touchdown.

DELTA STATE 47, ARKANSAS TECH 32
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – No. 10 Delta State (3-1) scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to capture a 47-32 non-conference victory over Arkansas Tech (1-2) on Saturday. The Wonder Boys led 13-3 with 6:54 remaining in the fourth quarter after a 58-yard touchdown pass from Preston Conder to AJ Whitmore. After a DSU field goal, Whitmore returned the ensuing kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown. The two squads battled back and forth throughout the remainder of the second and third quarters. ATU gained a 32-27 lead with 11:02 remaining in regulation with a familiar connection, Conder to Whitmore for 14-yards to cap an eight-play, 54-yard drive that used 3:40. That drive was preceeded by a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown by ATU’s Joe Bryant.

NORTHEASTERN STATE at EAST CENTRAL
ADA, Okla. – The Northeastern State at East Central game is tied 31-all with 9:30 remaining in the fourth quarter. According to East Central Sports Information Director Brian Johnson, the game in a weather delay.
