ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – the 2018 Division 2 Conference Commissioner’s Association announced its Women’s Soccer All-Central Region team. Nine standouts from the Great American Conference earned All-Region honors.
Oklahoma Baptist each had four players named all-region. Southwestern Oklahoma State had three total selections including two first team forwards. Harding and Ouachita Baptist each had one representative.
First team D2CCA All-Central Region honorees will now become eligible for D2CCA All-American consideration. The D2CCA All-American team will be released on Nov. 30.
The D2CCA encourages and promotes DII athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact DII intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA DII member colleges and universities.
