RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the league’s 10th Women’s Tennis Player of the Week honor for 2021. Harding’s Rylie Cox Evans won the award after the Lady Bisons extended their win streak to six.
GAC WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Rylie Cox Evans, Harding, Sr., Rockwall, Texas
Evans reached the 50 singles win milestone as she went 3-0 from the No. 1 position. The 50th win came against Oklahoma Baptist’s Lin Xin Tan. Against Southeastern Oklahoma State, she helped the Lady Bison secure at least a share of the GAC regular-season title as she partnered with Emily Carpenter for a doubles win and defeated Zulay Casteneda in straight sets.
