BETHANY, Okla. - The Crimson Storm hit their home turf as the top seed in the GAC/MIAA Semifinals to go head to head with the four-seeded Riverhawks of Northeastern State. The Storm defense shut down the Riverhawks and came out on top, 2-0.

The Storm (13-4-2, 10-2 GAC) defeated Northeastern State (8-6-4, 6-4-2 GAC) in their two previous meetings this season. Southern Nazarene defeated NSU at home 3-0 and on the road 2-1.

Southern Nazarene controlled most of the first half offensively. The ball stayed on the Riverhawks side of the field for most of the half while the Storm took shot after shot. Eventually, Juan Rodarte got one to sneak through in the 35th minute thanks to a great setup from Miguel Torrecillas. The Storm finished the half with one goal while taking nine shots. They entered halftime with a lead of 1-0.

It only took SNU five minutes to pick up right where they left off. Daniel Trojman scored, stretching the lead for the Crimson Storm to 2-0. The Riverhawks responded by keeping the ball on the Storm's side of the field for most of the second half. NSU struggled to get a chance to score, leaving them empty-handed on the scoreboard.

The Storm collected another shutout thanks to a stellar defensive performance from Alvaro Sanchez, Miguel Torrecillas, Augustine Seaver, and Esteban Ramirez. The offense collected 13 shots in the match with multiple members contributing offensively.

Trojman tacked on three shots and Rodarte recorded two.
