RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s tennis player of the week for the sixth week of the 2024 season. Southern Arkansas’ Amelie Gindl collected her second weekly honor of the season.

Gindl picked up four singles victories and two doubles wins as the Muleriders claimed four victories including two against nationally-ranked foes. She defeated No. 35 Missouri Western’s Sofia Pignataro in straight sets as SAU handed the Griffons their first loss in nine contests. After two more straight-set singles wins, she bested No. 33 Hawai'i Pacific’s Sara Hejtmankova.
