Tweet #theGAC  RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Due to ongoing hazardous conditions, including ice, snow, and excessively cold temperatures across the conference footprint, the Great American Conference announced additional changes to its upcoming men’s and women’s basketball schedule.

The doubleheaders originally scheduled for today, which had been tentatively moved to Monday, have now been postponed and rescheduled for dates in February.

"The historic winter weather event impacting our region has made competition unsafe for this weekend and the immediate start of next week," GAC commissioner Will Prewitt said.

The six doubleheaders will be played on the following dates:

Monday, February 9:
Arkansas-Monticello at Arkansas Tech
Ouachita Baptist at Harding
Southern Arkansas at Henderson State

Monday, February 16:
East Central at Southern Nazarene
Southeastern Oklahoma State at Northwestern Oklahoma State
Southwestern Oklahoma State at Oklahoma Baptist

All rescheduled games will utilize the normal weeknight 5:30/7:30 p.m. start times.
