GAC GOLFERS OF THE WEEK

Arkansas Tech sophomore golfer Cameron Twynholm picked up his second GAC Golfer of the Week honor in as many weeks after leading the Wonder Boys at the Tulsa Cup. After consecutive rounds of even-par 72 golf, the second-year golfer shot three-under 69 in the final round to place him in a tie for fifth. Overall, Twynholm finished as the highest GAC golfer and posted a 54-hole score of 3-under 213.

Southern Arkansas junior golfer Brianna Chamoun clinched her first coveted collegiate tournament win of her career. Chamoun came out of the gate scorching hot as she carded a 2-over 74 in the first round of play. In her second round of play, Chamoun carded a 1-under 71, moving her into second after two rounds of play. Chamoun came out of the gate on day two looking to stay in contention and that she did as she recorded a 5-over 77 which proved to be just enough to win the tournament by one stroke. Over the course of three rounds, Chamoun carded five birdies and one eagle.
