GAC All-Sports Record Book
The Great American Conference will present the two All-Sports Trophies at the end of the athletic year. The GAC determines the winner of the Commissioner’s Cup to the GAC school that totals the most cumulative points in the 14 countable sports of men’s and women’s cross country, football, volleyball, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s tennis, men’s women’s track & field, men’s and women’s golf, softball and baseball while the President’s Trophy goes to the program that earns the highest percentage of points based on the sports they sponsor.

Below are the guidelines for the GAC All-Sports Trophy.
-- Points will be recorded in all sponsored sports with six or more participants.
-- The regular season standings will determine the points for the sports of baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, football, volleyball, women's soccer, softball, and women’s tennis.
-- The conference championship will determine the points for the sports of men's cross country, women’s cross country, men’s golf, and women’s golf.
-- Sports in which all schools participate will be scored in a 11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 format.
-- Sports with fewer than the maximum number of participants will be scored based on the nums. EX: 6 of 11 teams sponsor women's soccer. Points would be awarded in the following manner: 1-6, 2-5, 3-4, 4-3, 5-2, 6-1.
-- Teams in a tie for a position will divide the combined points for the tied positions. EX: Schools A and B tie for first place. First place is worth nine points, second place is worth eight points. Each school would receive 8.5 points in the all-sports trophy race.
