RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - No. 9 Rogers State (4-1-1, 0-0 GAC) maintained its lead atop the Great American Conference men's soccer standings after a 1-1 week, followed by Ouachita Baptist (3-1-1, 0-0 GAC), which picked up a win over NCAA Division III Hendrix.
The Hillcats shut out Oklahoma Christian, 2-0, marking the first time OC has been shutout this season. No. 25 Fort Hays State (2-1-2, 0-0 GAC) worked out a road draw against Lubbock Christian while No. 19 Southern Nazarene (3-2-0, 0-0 GAC) also claimed victory over Oklahoma Christian, 2-1, to go 1-1 on the week.
Northeastern State (1-4-0, 0-0 GAC), Newman (1-5-0, 0-0 GAC) and Harding 0-4-0, 0-0 GAC) round out the GAC standings.
Teams begin conference play Thursday, Sept. 17, highlighted by No. 12 Rogers State on the road at No. 22 Fort Hays State Thursday at 7 p.m. (RV) Southern Nazarene will host Harding at 7 p.m.

Southern Nazarene redshirt senior midfielder Diego Zamora scored his first goal of the season on his only attempted shot in a 2-1 win over in-state foe and former-Sooner Athletic Conference rival Oklahoma Christian. Zamora added three shots on goal in the previous match against defending national champion No. 6 Midwestern St.

Rogers State sophomore defender Gian Filizzola secured his league-leading third assist of the season against St. Mary's after aiding in a defensive effort that shutout Oklahoma Christian, 2-0. It was the first time OC had been shut out this season. Filizzola also added a shot on goal against the Eagles.

Ouachita Baptist redshirt-freshman goalkeeper Landon Summers saw his second start of the season, posting his first shutout of 2026 against NCAA competition. Summers faced five shots while recording one save in the 3-0 road victory against Hendrix.
